What is Morning Sickness? – Morning Sickness is nausea, with or without vomiting, that occurs during pregnancy.5 About 85% of people experience some degree of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.6 Nausea and Vomiting in pregnancy (NVP) can limit a person’s ability to continue their usual activities and affect quality of life. For most people, morning sickness begins around the fourth week of pregnancy and resolves by weeks 12 to 14. However, 1 in 5 people endure morning sickness into their second trimester, and an unfortunate few experience nausea and vomiting for the entire duration of their pregnancy. Take 1 tablet when you experience symptoms of nausea and vomiting and repeat as necessary up to a maximum of four tablets in a day or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Elevit Morning Support should not be halved or crushed.
The product should not be dissolved, but taken whole, it can be taken with or without food.
Whilst Elevit Morning Support is suitable for use in pregnancy, there is no definitive time period in which either Vitamin B6 or Ginger can or cannot be used. Queasy stomachs can typically occur within the first trimester of pregnancy and resolves for most women by the second trimester. If queasy stomach symptoms continue into the second and third trimester, or vomiting is persistent or commences after week 14 of gestation, consult a doctor for advice. Also, if severe symptoms persist while taking Elevit Morning Support, consult your doctor for advice.
Yes, Elevit Morning Support can be taken with Elevit Pre-conception and Pregnancy multivitamin.
Elevit Morning Support may be taken in addition to Elevit DHA & Choline Pregnancy and/or Elevit Probiotics. Talk to your health professional if you are taking multiple medications.
If you take more than you are meant to, we recommend that you contact your doctor, pharmacist or the National Poisons Centre on 0800 764 766 for advice, or go to Accident and Emergency at your nearest hospital. We recommend you do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
